Bottle. Black colour with a small foamy beige head. Aroma is liquorice, coffee and some pear like sweetness as well a ssome ripe fruitiness. Flavour is coffee, liquorice, alcohol, some syrup, mild rye bread with some slight toffee and vanilla as well. Nicely roasted tones in the aftertaste.

Excellent tasty, powerful and balanced impy Black as the deepest night and a fine beige head Pleasant and smooth aroma. Ok intensity Balanced sweetness and a fine carbonation level Quite easy to drink Well masked alcohol level Dark malt, some roast, some spices, mild oak, some licorice and mild fruity flavor [Bottle as Eclipse - Rittenhouse Rye from Systembolaget web shop in Sweden]

2014 Rittenhouse Rye barrel version, shared at Logan's house. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The aroma is toffee, brown bread, chocolate syrup, and lots of oak. Sweet and malty, with a woody bitterness. Heavy body, with a sharp, grainy, syrupy mouthfeel. This is a nice, well aged, and aggressive stout.
