Sample at the Rhinegeist Rare Beer Fest 10/28/2017. Brown-black color with a medium thin tan head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Bourbon, malt and chocolate in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, roast malt and fudge. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

On tap at at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Pours black with brownish head. Roasted, chocolate, cocoa, some vanilla, soft carbonation, bit warming. Smooth. Oily even bit syrupy. Sweet. Full bodied. Very nice, my palate was already tired since I've tried it at the end of the festival, but I've actually enjoyed more than I thought.

Draft at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017 - London. Pours black with a foamy, tan head. Big stuff, lots of fudge, chocolate, moderate ashy roast, scorched earth and toffee. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, with loads more cocoa, roast, rocky road. Nice, hefty impy.
