Aroma of sweet malt , caramel, fruit, hop. Flavour is malty caramel, light to medium sweet, with a moderately bitter finish. A rather malty IPA, good but I like my IPA more fruity and hoppy.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy amber coloured brew with an dry bitter taste and hints of grapefruits, pine, grass and hops. Good collaboration between two breweries, the firmness of de Prael and the single hops of Ramses.

Tasting glass draft @ BAF 2015. Hazy orange, creamy white head. Nose is big sweet yeast, sugar, candy, BE, hay, caramel. Taste is sweet caramel, sugar, big sweet bread, BE yeast, honey, peach, bread,… Creamy & sweet. Like a good & sweet Belgian. Not much of an IPA but surprisingly yummy brew. Best I have had from De Praal & tied first from Ramses. Pleasant surprise.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 22 Aug 2014) Amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, caramel and dried apricots. Malty, fruity taste with orange peel, apricots, slightly toasted malt and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made DIPA. Nice one.

On tap @ Arendsnest (taster size glass). Not sure whether this was a fresh batch or still a keg from last year? Hazy amber color. Dense white to off white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma’s: caramel, citrussy hops. Retronasal it’s darkish malts, earthy hops. Flavor is bitter with a light malty sweet backbone. Medium bodied. Long finish, with a firm earthy bitterness.
