Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza. It pours opaque jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich, sweet, sticky, decadent, rather oily, vanilla, sweet bourbon, roasted malt, toasted marshmallow and coffee cake. The taste is slick, oily, chewy malt, toasty, coffee cake, charred wood, leather, spice, earth, vanilla, tar and damp wood with a warming finish. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth – feel. Good fun, aroma in particular stands out.

Tap at BeaverEx 2017, London. Colour is almost black with very small brownish head. Aromas and flavours: Bourbon, dark chocolate and roasted malts.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 1. Black. Nose is thick very alcoholic bourbon, molasses, sugar, syrupy. Taste is basic sweet alcoholic bourbon, molasses, sugar, chocolate, sweet, boozy, thick syrup. No finesse but nice & quite enjoyable.

On tap at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Black beer lasting tan head. Bit hot. Some chocolate sponge some chilli heat. As i say a bit warm .chilli. ugh.

Tap. Darkest brown color with tiny beige ring. Aroma is black chocolate, vanilla, caramel. Taste is vanilla, chocolate. Oily mouthfeel. Very nice!

Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - pours black with a tan head. Sweet and dark roasted malty aroma and taste with chocolate, coffee, caramel, burnt dark malty nuances, some vanilla, bourbon infused wooden notes, roasted finish.

MBCC. Black with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and a little soy. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little soy, barrel sweet, warming and liquorice.

Draught at MBCC. Red Session. Naked surface to a pitch black body. Spotty lacing. Roasted aroma of dark fruits, alcohol and chocolate. Dark doughy flavours together with chocolate and dark fruits. Jam-like impression. Warming, roasted malty finish. Sipper qualities. (Copenhagen 13.05.2017).
