German pilsner is characteristically dry and hoppy with a nice background bitterness. Ours is a classic example of the style brewed with Pilsner malt and hopped with Saphir and Spalt Select.

2021-04-08, can from the brewery via Brian, 5-3-5-2-10=25
Blond colour, maybe a bit dull; clean. Smells of corn. Flat flavour, nothing special about the malt, even less about the hops; the bitterness is on the low side. This was from the brewery, so it's expected to be fresh. I wouldn't be so sure that this expensive can is so much better than some macro stuff.

2017-05-28, draught at Doan's, Vancouver, 6-3-7-3-13=32
Cloudy pale blond color. Mild aroma of grassy hops and wheat bread. Crisp malt base with wheat bread character, some grassy hop, a bit too much pithy bitterness in the final.
Rustic Pilsner, worth working on it.
