Has the same ugly ashy amstel flavour. But the sweet maltyness of the bock is actually good. pub Amsterdam

Vintage 2017: Quite usual. Clear brownish color and a small off-white head. Roasted malts, dried fruits. Some caramel.

Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of fudge, oxidization, raisin, overripe dark fruits and dried fruits. Flavour is above moderate sweet. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A little more life than the 2008 drank before this but less complexity.

Dark brown with barely any head. Aroma has oxidizes sherry qualities upfront with fudge, caramel, overripe dark fruits, light perfume and dried fruits. Flavour is above moderate sweet. Medium bodied with near flat carbonation. Certainly past it’s prime though this has always aged excellently.
