Not too sweet bock beer. Caramel and some roasted malt. A bit thin, but still a firm beer. Re-rate: Sold as Amstel Rijpe Bock in separate own glass: Amstel Bock 2004, lagered 1 year in the barrel. Served from tap in Café De Engel in Oldenzaal Caramel aroma and flavor. Nutty. Some bitterness, especially in the aftertaste. Grassy. Roasted malt. Upcoming porto flavors. Tastes softer and a tad more alcoholic as the usual Amstel Bock. Interesting (6 3 7 3 14 = 3.3) 2010 version, tasted end of october 2010 from tap. Medium bodied. Malty but not too sweet. Some roast and laurel. Good.

AirBnB rating, bottle from a supermarket in Haarlem. Dark clear maroon color, tan head. Nutty aroma with light cocoa. Taste is slightly sweet but not overly so, nutty, subtle dark fruit. Not bad.

Flesje geprobeerd bij familie. Het is een helder amberkleurig bier met een medium wit schuim. Het aroma is moutig en caramelachtig, de smaak is gebrande mout en caramel.

Van de tap in In de Wildeman met Eus. Donkerbruine troebele kleur. Een aardige bok, maar niet heel speciaal.
