Strong aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, light liqourice. Flavour is roasty, lots of coffee and some chocolate. Could be a bit more thick and deep on the palate, but this is much to my liking. Well done.

Almost opaque brown-dark pour, with a pleasant espresso-coloured head. Smells heavily of lactose and dark cherries, like a cheap oatmeal stout. The taste is sweet and malty, the alcohol being a bit too present. Sweet cherries and dark chocolate can also be detected, as well as vanilla and something I can only identify as artificial sweetener. The aftertaste is medicinal bitter, kind of stinging the tongue.

Bottle. Black pour, white head. Aroma of licorice, roasted malt and soft wheat. Taste of licorice, sweet coffee, amber malt and a little iron. Bit thin body. Not bad, but not very interesting.

Heavy stout with light beige head and blackish colour with burgundy hue, hazy. Aroma of caramel, coffee with milk, dates, fried eggs, iron; candi-like sweetish onset, candied fruits, smooth, bit iron, light toasted malts in the finish, low hop bitterness. Lacks personality and bitterness but perfectly enjoyable.

fles als Stout Weesje, donkerbruin/zwart met schuimige kaki kraag aroma wat beperkte geuren van gebrande en geroosterde mouten, koffie smaken: redelijk zoet, matig bitter, koffie, mocca, geroosterde- gebrande mouten, chocolade. medium tot volle body, romig/glad van textuur, afdronk bitterzoet. zachte geen extreme stout, beetje droog maar erg lekker
