Bottled. Pours a clear brownish orange. Some apples and pears. Malts. Hops are minmal for the style. Pretty light for a bwine though alco burn was there

Not all that familiar with the brewery, I have had their quadrupel and liked it way more than expected. This evening is their barley wine that carries a large number of ratings. I'll step into that line. 12 oz bottle from Half Time, now opened and going into my Teku glass. I see a thin appearing liquid that is ruddy brown followed by a ring of very light tan, very fine bubbles. The smell is dried fruit, bread and toffee. I lift the glass and am taken aback, the drink is a significant step up from appearance and scent, fuller and deeper than the other two. Red plums, cereal, yellow raisins, hard candy and meadow. I call this a pleasant offering in a beer style I appreciate considerably.

As I spoke five words to my crush Justin today, I feel pretty much like I should be drinking this. Either way, taste doesn't linger. Meah.

Bottle shared with my brother. Quite a nice barley wine, lots of prune and figs, very smooth, some herbal hops notes. Good, classic barley wine.

22/4/2023. Bottle from New Beer Distributors, New York shared at SBGP2. Pours clear deep reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of toffee, biscuit, fruits, butterscotch. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Quite full bodied, slightly sticky, soft carbonation. Enjoyable. 9383-15.38

Bottle. Clear, dark golden to red-amber body with almost no head. Aroma of malt, caramel, dry fruit, raisons and warming alcohol. Taste is quite sweet with malt, dry fruit and quite much alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Nice sipper, but a bit boozy after a while.

Bottle drink while watching The Walking Dead during the Coronavirus Crisis 😱 Hazy dark brown, almost no head. Syrup sweet nose, malty, bread and marzipan. Fantastic complex flavor full of raisins, Christmas cheer, almond bitter, roast malt - a powerful and tasty contender in the barley wine scene.

Bottle @ DTS. Reddish amber color. Toffee and marzipan in the aroma. Alcoholic, perfumed flavor with marzipan and a hint of cherry. Disappointing.
