500 ml bottle. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma: fruity, wheat, toast. Taste: light to moderate sweet, wheat, coriander, some banana esters, bready finish. Light to medium body with frothy carbonation. Pretty refreshing, not bad.

Cask at Sun, Stafford RERATE : strangely enough, this time, in the same venue, the beer IS hazy ... ORIGINAL REVIEW : Well my beer was certainly NOT hazy as some raters proclaim. It poured a clear golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. There’s a really nice spicy aroma including cloves and coriander. Spices aren’t so noticeable in the mouth, where the dominant feature is the wheat plus tangerines and banana. Hops start coming through in the finish but there are also apples and oranges there. Very nice indeed. Possibly the best witbier I’ve ever had in cask form !

Gravity at Bree Louise. Cloudy orangey brown colour with no head. Aroma is wheat, bit of orange, malty and fruity. Taste is wheaty but with a bit of spice and a slight bitterness. Bit oily in the mouth with a prickly finish. Makes my tongue and lips throb slightly. Not sure this was intentional, but was interesting none the less. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hebden's Wheat on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Orange blonde. Wheaty, slightly perfumed aroma and flavor with citrus, coreander and anis. Sweetish.

Cask at PoW Beer Fest, Farnborough. Sweet candy and spice aroma. Slightly hazy pale gold. Very thin white head. Sour and tangy. Bitter hoppy too. Mesium bodied. Slick. Flat. Dry finish. Decent enough and suprisngly hoppy and sour for the style.

Bottle from Real Foods. Appearance - golden with a nice lacy head. Nose - smells like a wit. Citrus and creamy banana. Taste - more of the same. A bit sour and malty though. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - not bad.

Samea olut, jonka vaahto jättää pitsiä. Ei pärjää ihan vertailussa Saksan vehnille, mutta hyvä janojuoma terassille. Banaanisuus puuttuu.
