The revered psychosis downhill mountain bike race on Mt. Seven in Golden, BC ran for 10 years before its demise. We celebrate its dementedness using seven big additions of hops, making for an aggressive but balanced double IPA.

Nice clean gold body and good foam. Very good sweet hop aroma, white wine notes coming through. Taste is a lot of sweet hops, yet also vinous, and lingering bitterness that somehow manages to not be overbearing. A big IPA with some surprising finesse.

650ml bottle. (8.0% ABV) Pours a slightly hazy amber with a medium, creamy, long lasting, white head that leaves thick curtains of lace. Dank aroma of caramel malt, orange, tropical fruit, grapefruit and piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of caramel malt, orange peel, cantaloupe, mango, grapefruit, pine resin and floral hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Wow! At 100+ IBU, I thought this was going to be a pallet wrecker, but it's actually well balanced and very drinkable. Tasty, well done.

650mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous and piney hops, some alcohol, and biscuity malt in back. Flavour is fairly fresh, with a herbal and piney hop character upfront, with a touch of crunchy grassy notes, and toasted biscuity malt to back. The hop character has a bit of sweatiness on the finish, but it's pretty fresh. Good balance and nicely constructed. Quite nice.

Bottle. Amber, no head. The aroma is a bit orangey, with a bit of amber malts. Earthy a touch, with herbal, marmalade, lots of sweet malts. Touch biscuity. Alchol in the finish, again with more marmalade hops. Decent stuff.
