Light brown. This has a lot of rye spiciness. A bit yeasty, modest bitterness but the quality of the rye character is really the standout element.

Can - Citrus hops and light woody notes. Cloudy copper gold with a decent white head. Woody and earthy with some malts and bitterness. Just not enough of anything.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a hazy orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out lots of earthiness from the rye, some vegetal character and restrained notice of some hops. Flavour is along the same lines, letting the spicy, earthy rye dominate. Low hop character, with a rather bone dry palate. Simple and drinkable, but unexciting.

Draught at the brewery
Amber color, dark, clean. Aroma of rye. The flavor is a bit earthy, caramel, and rye; but also some vegetable bitterness, cabbage, and overall it has no Bitter character.
