A monster collaboration. Apricots, stewed prune brown sugar earthy, sturdy hops that grow through the drink. A solid dense body. Pepper and booze grow as does the hoppy edge. Great combo of smooth richness and powerful tastes.

Kolor pomarańczowy z pianą drobną,mętne pływają jakieś farfocle. Ciasteczkowo karmelowy aromat. Bardzo gładkie i przyjemne a jednocześnie gęste. Alkoholu nie czuć.

Bottle @ DTS. Reddish amber color. Banana and mango in the aroma. Firm flowery, oily hopbitter flavor, hiding the fruity notes. Burning alcohol. Earthy hopbitter aftertaste. Balance could be a bit better.

Thin off white head. Over stewed fruit & oaky aroma. High alcohol presence, honey, over stewed fruit & caramel tastes. Very nice

Bottle. Pours clear dark amber. Aroma is rubber in the sun, plastic. Body is heavy, strong and boozy, some more plastics, but muuuuch lower. Low carbonation, but feels a bit simple. Underwhelming, given the reputation.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 06-09-2017) im 2016-01 getrunken. Da freut man sich auf ein schönes Barley Wine und dann das… Ok es ist ein Barley Wine aber eins im Amerikanischen Stil mit viel zu viel Hopfen. In der Nase ist alles noch verträglich. Aber am Gaumen - Igitt was für ein böses Hopfenmonster. Nein diese Hopfenbitterkeit kriege ich nicht runter - ab in den Ausguß. Sehr schade!

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy dark amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is malt, toffee caramel, alcohol bitter. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich sweet malt, woody alcoholic bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Hazy ruby-amber color with beige head. Aroma is hoppy, raisins, toffee, figs. Taste is hoppy, raisins, toffee, sweet, orange nectar, bready. Hoppy finish, oily mouthfeel, low to medium carbonation.
