Bottle, 0.50l. Clear dark brown head with medium soapy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of smoke, caramel and chocolate. Taste starts light sweet grainy with roasted malt note, following is refreshing fruity and smoky, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. A bit too subtle to meet my high expectations...

Pours a deep brown color, topped with a medium sized beige colored head. Initially mild smokey aroma, bacon quality, that develops more chocolate and caramel notes later on. Also some mild roasted coffee presence. Bod is silky and creamy, mild caramel sweetness matched by very gentle roastiness. Not a big fan of smoked beers, but this one is simply great.

Bottle from Cotteridge wines. A catch up rate. Aroma is nice earthy roast, damp campfire, slight smokey ash, Some earthy coco on the nose as well.. Lively pour, opaque black with some dark red highlights and a big mid tan head that fades to a thin layer. Flavour is composed of smooth nutty roast, campfire, praline, and a bittle roast bitterness in the finish. Smoke character is nicely integrated with the base beer. A little soapy note on the flavour. Palate is medium full, smoth with highish carbonation.
