22oz bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is not good infected sour cherries roast malts and bourbon barrel vanilla. Taste is more of the bad infected sour stout to bad this went sour.

Bottle - Boozy dark cocoa notes. Dark deep brown with a small beige head. Slightly soured and dark barrel notes. This seems to have gone wrong, but it isn’t undrinkable.

650ml bottle at Matt’s. Pours an almost black with a dark beige head. Aroma is pleasant with fruity and bourbon notes. Taste is slightly sweet, very roasted, hoppy bitter, lots of fruity notes. Nothing special, drinkable, but it is definitely impossible to finish a bottle alone.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of whiskey barrels, some light tartness, and dark fruits. Flavour seems accidentally sour, with whiskey barrels, wood, caramel and dark fruits. Shame about the sourness, but thankfully it's subdued. The barrel character is pretty nice, but this is pretty clearly infected. Okay.

Dark brown. On the nose, there’s some inky sweet malts, sugary vanilla barrel stuff, but also a hint of tartness. Burnt taste, like extra dark molasses. There’s a touch of tartness, but it’s such a low level that while you know it’s probably not supposed to be there, you also know that it sort of lends a bit of balance to the beer. Today, I’m okay with this.

Draft 6 oz pour at Toronado, Seattle. Pours a dense black with no head. A heavy sweet whiskey impression aroma. Flavor is cool chocolate malt, whiskey, vanilla, cocoa, and an easy drinking finish. Clean for a barrel aged imperial. Lingering chocolate and bourbon. A solid stout overall. Very interesting brew.
