One of Buxton Brewery's most iconic beers, now in a NEW LOOK 330ML can! Our flagship India Pale Ale, brewed relentlessly hoppy since 2011.

Our full flavoured, strong India Pale Alehopped with Amarillo, Citra and Nelson Sauvin. This beer has a pale straw-amber body, and pours with a full creamy head. Its complex flavours include mandarin orange, schnapps, pineapple, and juicy tropical fruits. It is warmingly alcoholic with a dry finish.

Old rating from 18-07-16 - A 330ml bottle brought from Dunnel's in Jersey, it pours a hazy amber colour, with medium creamy white head and leaves lacing. Aromas is of mandarin, grapefruit, cereal, spicy hops with some floral and bready aromas. The taste has much of the same but also a malty caramel side followed by a spicy hopped bitterness in the finish.

Can from Morrisons. Deep golden body with a light haze and an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine, lemon and Babybel. Flavour of pithy orange, green banana and vine tomatoes. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Sharp and pithy. A solid IPA, but not as good as I remember it being when it was forst released.

440ml can from Asda. Pours a hazy orange colour with a large thick foamy white head. Nice fruity aromas of orange, lemon, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, pine and spice. Taste is again fruity, with lots and lots of peppery spice, some weed and leafy resiny hops. Some warming alcohol present. Big hoppy bitterness on the long finish. Full body, average carbonation and juicy mouthfeel. Very decent.

440ml can. Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, dank, tropical citrus, floral hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Hazy gold with a frothy white head and a mellow floral aroma with a hint of pine. There’s a sweetness to the flavour to begin with before hop bitterness kicks in and there’s a sorghum-like flavour going on too
