One of Buxton Brewery's most iconic beers, now in a NEW LOOK 330ML can! Our flagship India Pale Ale, brewed relentlessly hoppy since 2011.

Our full flavoured, strong India Pale Alehopped with Amarillo, Citra and Nelson Sauvin. This beer has a pale straw-amber body, and pours with a full creamy head. Its complex flavours include mandarin orange, schnapps, pineapple, and juicy tropical fruits. It is warmingly alcoholic with a dry finish.

Bottle from Brew Dog online shop. Hoppy aroma, citrus and exotic fruit, resin. Tastes the same as aroma, light sweet notes, medium bitter. Medium to full body, hoppy bitter finish. Perfectly ballanced and highly drinkable. Very good.

Tap. Bar Stewards, Sheffield. Also in bottle a while ago, without realising it was the DDH version. Hazed, medium gold. Thin, dense, lacing, white head. Good looker. Nose is a little dank, piny, and sweaty. Which is a nice change. Fruit takes a back seat here. Some ripe melon, bit it’s all about the sweaty. Taste is rich and sweet, with a piny, slightly dirty bitterness. Medium body. Crisp fizz. More dirty, piny bitterness to finish. Forgot how good a Buxton beer on tap can be.

Draught Dense, light whipped eggwhite head, lacy, over golden-orange beer, slightly hazy. Grapey, lunaria, human sweat; lupulin explosion, also quite some sulphur. Sweetish, sulphur, again sweat; hops with little bitterness, though the hopflavours accumulate throughout. Bit cheesy feel - as molten cheese, diluted with (hoppy) wine. Feels better carbonated than it looks. Pretty good.

Cask. Golden beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is hopped, and the flavour is strongly hopped with plenty of bitterness. Overall a nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at MK VHX, 19/06/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a well presented off white head. Nose is tangerine, citric pith, melon, toasted malts, grassy. Taste comprises orange pith, grass, toasted grains, melon, light pine dusting, mango sorbet. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA.
