Taster at Spuyten Duyvil during Zwanze. Orange murky color, small white head. Smells funky, spices, peppery, earthy, grassy. Nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes grassy, earthy, spices, peppery, some funk, wood. Finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of wood, grassy and spicy notes. Very nice one, not as bright as most other lindemans, but nice complexity. Good stuff 7,4,8,4,16

Bottle at the restaurant. Nice. Easy going, citrus, nice sourness. Funky and dusty. Quite full on. Wish I had made more notes.

Corked bottle. Orange blonde color. Oak, lemon and peach in the almost vinous aroma. Sour oaky flavor with lemon, grapefruit and hints of pineapple. Good complexity. Lovely gueuze.

Thanks Justin for sharing! Taster showing pale gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of brett, cheese, and notes of umami. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Lightly tart with light flavors of brett, biscuit, and steel tank.

Bottle shared at Puttetjes’s thanks to Maakun. Hazy golden with white head. Black mold in the cap. Dry malts, sour grain, straw, reindeer moss, wet earth, flint and firecracker, aluminium. Light sweet and moderate bitter and sour. Medium body and soft carbonation. Wet and maybe a little too moldy.

Bottle that slightly leaked in my ‘cellar’. Removed the cap and the cork cane out by itself with a bang. Hazy golden with creamy big white head. Thick funk, cobwebs, wet cellar, soft apple, Brett, mineral, cheese, light dank wood, cork, light lemon. Wet forest, moss. Under medium sweet, sour and bitter. Medium bodied with lively but not excessive carbonation. Still highly carbonated after 8 years. Unique ‘wet’ notes all over. Lovely.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours like a Gueuze should. Aroma is flower, minerals, sweaty socks, chalk, stables. Body is medium, funky, good. Chalks, minerals, stables, fruit, sour, whatever you want in a gueuze. Less impressive in the mouth than the nose, but still. Worth praise.
