Brown, small beige head. Light cereal nose.Thin and balanced, but more of a bitter than an ESB

Bright amber. No head. Nose has chewy caramelized malts and earthy centennials. Earthy taste, well-balanced. These hops work well in this caramelized crystal malt context. One of their best beers so far.

Draft - Not sure sure this should still be on tap. Light Perfumy caramel. Clear Amber with a small off white head. Woody and Perfumy bitterness with a nice bit of caramel in the background. Much better than I expected.

Draught at the brewery
Bright amber color, clean, not much head. It has mild bread and caramel notes, light residual sweetness, it’s soft, flawless, with a nutty touch in the final; no British yeast; very low bitterness and no hop character whatsoever.
So, it’s not an ESB, and you can’t feel the hops.

On tap at Faculty, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity English malt and restrained leafy hops. Flavour is messy and yeasty, with English malt and bitter hopping. Yeasty and all over the place. Not good.
