Light amber color. Light aroma. Smooth mouthfeel; ordinary flavor, where some malt and hop mix to give a very common ale (the simplest Strong Belgian Ale), without character, with a quite strong final.

(Bottle 33 cl) Neat amber colour, slightly cloudy with a good, tall head which collapses rather quickly though. Distinct caramelish sweetness without being sticky. Complex with lots of different malts and hops and a spicing with honey and coriander. Lovely indeed. 221002

Foxy-amber, hazy. Thick creamy-white head, stable. Alcohol, caramel and roasted malts in the nose. Also orange zest, coriander. Definitely honey. Citrusy notes in the taste, some honey, fading sugar impression. Retronasal bitterness, once more as orange zest & coriander, how delightfully original! OTH, there is another retronasal flavour in the finish as chocolate filled with exotic fruit, reminscent of barley-wines. Excellent palate - it is as if the beer begins with a watery texture, and gradually fills in. A good try - as in thirteen-in-dozen. Oh well.

Orange colour. Hazy. Peppery vanilla aroma. Malty, complex and unusual, with flavours of oreange and toffee. Slightly sweet.
