Poured from the tap. Hazy brownish gold with small off white head. Caramel malt, slightly earthy, pine hops. Meh.

Draft - Light malts and caramel. Clear gold with a decent beige head. Light spice and grains and a malty finish.

Pours a clear coppery/brown color, topped with an average light tan colored head. Pleasantly malty aroma, complemented by some fruitiness and some caramel. The taste is sweet and caramely, slight bitterness in the end. Very enjoyable and easy to drink.

On tap. Pours a dark copper color with light head. Aromas of corn, very light burnt sugar, and malt. Flavours are similar with addition notes of sourdough. Quite unimpressive.

Pretty underwhelming pale ale. Smells like almost nothing with a faint taste of malt. Has some well-disguised hops that comes through a little on final aroma. Pours pale orange with some lacing, a little head. Finishes a little sour. Average carbonation. Sample at brewery.

Bottle, sampled at Firefly Fine Wines and Ales, pours light amber. Weak malt and earthy hop balance. Very thin and watery - pass.

Draught at Vancouver airport lounge
Amber color. It has a nice hoppy aroma, but the flavor is more common. Still, one of the few interesting beers at airport lounges.

draft, also at some bar in Victoria - Pours copper with a thin, fading head. The aroma has some light malt and hops. The taste is caramel malts and pretty light hops for the style. It was on the thin side, though not too bad. There are plenty of better beers around.

Bottled. Clear pale amber. Light aroma of paper and grass. Sweetish and lightly appley with clean mouthfeel. Medium bitterness. Subtle but without finesse.

Golden amber, creamy head. Slight malt flavor. Nothing exiting - pretty standard pale ale.
