Draft at Cellarmaker. The beer is black, wall to wall. Very small brown head, just some scattered bubbles. Huge fudge in the aroma. Mild hazelnut, not sure I’d pick it up without knowing it’s there. Very mild roast. Taste is quite sweet. Big old milk chocolate. A little more roast. Not a super rich flavor but it’s big and pleasant and absolutely full of sugary goodness. Lots of caramel, molasses, other sugar flavors. Full, soft, smooth feel. Little booze heat which is impressive. Fun, big imperial stout.
