12 oz. single from Beerhead. A rather bright orange color. Bright haze, with a sudsy head. A fruity nose, mainly strawberry and then mixed berry. Taste is a bit of a mixed bag. I think the rye kind of gets in the way, or the fruit mix is a little more tart or red wine-like than it should be. A nice summer take-down, yes, and I realize this can is a year old, like many I got at Beerhead's going-out-of-business sale. But maybe I'll try it again later.

Can from Busch's. Pours a clear pink with a finger of rose colored head that dissipates pretty quickly. Raspberry and strawberry really dominate the nose. More of the same on the palate, berries throughout with some light medicinal, cough syrup character, but not too overbearing. Not as sweet as I expected thankfully.

Can. Pours deep red. Raspberry, grain, blueberry, synthetic berry flavour, slight sulfur. Medium body. Not great.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear orange-amber color with a small white head and good retention. Decent lacing. Tart/sour aroma. Flavor is kinda weird. It's part cider, part beer and part light fruit juice. IMHO, it doesn't really succeed at any of them. Just a blah mix of flavors, more tart than sweet. Not bitter. Nothing bad, but I won't repeat. At least the 7.5% ABV is well hidden. Imperial fruit beer?

I believe this is the first Short's Brew I've had. Soft Parade 7.5% This pink-red brew is made with blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries. The aroma is insanely jammy and sweet. Medium to light bodied and dry. The taste is berry, wafers and alcohol. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
