500ml flip-top bottle picked up at Kihoskh in Copenhagen and shared with Gunnar and Finn. A good shot when opened. Pours a deep brown coloured body under a low, bubbly, beige head. Scattered lacing on the glass. Dark bread on the nose, hints of dried fruits. Blended taste character of prunes, caramel and bread. Mid-sweet, slightly roasted malty finish. Clean and easy to drink. Pleasing. (Tromsø 08.06.2017).

Pours amber brown from the bottle and leaves a fluffy head that soon settles. The aroma is bready with a strong red berry note. Not particularly beguiling or interesting though. Taste is lightly sour and a bit sweet with red berry playing the dominant role. The subtle toffee sweetness in the finish does not save the brew from being a bit of a bore. Decent and uncomplicated. Better with food than on it’s own. Preferably something heavy and meaty.
