Copper Coloured ale, similar to an English bitter, but in the style adapted by the craft-brewers of the U.S. West Coast. Rich malt flavours combine with distinctive floral and fruity flavours (peach and grapefruit) from American Cascade and Centennial hops.

Cask at Pigs Ear. Semi hazy amber beer with a good white head. Semi dry palate. Sweet caramal malt tasting a bit raw. Insipid hops - perhaps a trace of marmalade. Dry finish. Meh! Zero Degrees can do much better than this!

Cask@Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2011. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is butter wood, some caramel and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is toffee, bigtime on the buttery notes as well as mild wooden notes.

Tap at the London Brewers Showcase. Pours a shiney, honey-god with a light head. Honey, caramel malt aroma kicks things off. Sweet, buttery flavor with some nice, citrusy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Buttery, cereal finish with some earthy bitterness. Not too shabby. (3.6)

Light to medium sweet flavor with toasty bread, some bitter pine, leaves, dried orange, light earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Light dry pine finish with mellow toasted sugars, brown bread, some dirt. Decent. (3.5)

Medium brown colour with soapy head. It’s served rather too cold for much aroma to develop. Flavour is not unpleasant but just a bit bland. There’s a hint of maltiness and a mild hop finish but that’s it. Normally I’m a fan of Pale Ale.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty and slightly hoppy aroma with some hints of citrus. Fruity malty hoppy citrus flavor with some earthy hints. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden amber with a fully diminished white head. Light fruity hops and bitter aroma. Bitter and fruity hops flavoured with a mild malt base. Light acidic note into a bitter finish with a mild frity accent. Nice one.

Draught (Zerodegrees,Cardiff) - Copper coloured with a small head. Spicy hop aroma with light hints of grapefruit and chocolate. Hoppy taste with grapefruit hints being rather tangy on the tongue with some chocolate notes being detected in the finish.

Draught @ Zero Degrees, Reading RG1, England.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, fruity - peach ! moderate hoppy, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft - flat. (040508)
