Glass, 5 ounces, draught, drunk at L'autre œil, savoured on 22 December 2018; eye: yellowish with a milky hue, cloudy, no effervescence, tiny ring of tan head; nose: fruity, malt, light grain; mouth: fruity, malt, light grain, tannic, slight astringency, tea, finale in bittering hops with slight fruity presence, medium body, good carbonation, quite bitter, lightly sweet, raspy texture; overall: correct

Very cloudy medium gold under a large fluffy white long lasting head that laces nicely. Nose is a big dose of grapefruit and tropical fruit with some funk and quite a bit of pepper. Decent lightly sweet malt backs a big grapefruit and pineapple bitterness along with a moderate level of spice through the lingering bitter finish. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation. Thoroughly enjoyable. 9/4/8+/4-/17

Dégustée sur le bord de la piscine du beau-frère (absent) en compagnie d’un pote Français que j’ai connu au QC mais vivant aujourd’hui en Finlande... Vive mon intro sans but précis!!! Je trouve que c’est la meilleure de cette série que j’ai eu la chance de déguster. Amère mais sucrée, intense en fruits tropicaux mais contrebalancée par les houblons introduits pendant l’ébullition... Vive la bière!

Canette 473ml. Couleur jaune-orangée opaque, mousse blanche. Arôme de mangue, ananas, houblon résineux, malt. Goût d'ananas, houblon résineux, amertume moyenne-élevée, malt pâle, pointe d'alcool. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen-dense. Bouteille 341ml. Couleur jaune-orangée trouble, mousse blanche onctueuse laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme d’ananas, houblon résineux, pointe de cannabis, un peu herbal. Goût de houblon résineux, amertume élevée, ananas, malt pâle. Carbonatation élevée, corps moyen. 8/4/8/3/16 3.9

Bottle - Grapefruit and peppery notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Grapefruit peel and sweet citrus notes. Very much like a saison in taste.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy dark blond color, medium head. Nice hop aroma, piney, a bit fruity, hay, coriander. Smooth, very spicy (which yeast was used here?), very astringent, some bitter oranges, and pithy bitterness.
Not exciting for an IPA.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney and floral hops, some herbal notes, and light biscuity notes. Flavour is floral and herbal in the hop department. Fairly dank and with low astringency. Not a big fan of Ella hops, but this is done well.
