On tap at Brasserie Le Skipper, Le Croisic, Loire Atlantique, Friday 16th June 2017 Straw coloured with a white sticky head, soft mouthfeel just a touch spicy and a little dry, almost a light lagery feel. It’s fruity but not sure what fruit, fine. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

dark amber colour, huge beige-ish of-white head; aroma of dried fruits (mainly figs), caramel, and some minimal alcohol; taste of dried figs, slightly roasted sugar, anise, and some spicy notes; easily drinkable ale, but nothing special

Bottle brew wharf. Brown amber colour with an off white cream head. Aroma is nutty caramel and sweet praline. Flavour is sweet caramel and raisin, nice Belgian yeast character. Nicely carbonated with a full creamy mouth feel. Fairly OK if a bit sweet.

Bottle at the DISOB tasting, Den Haag. Poured a clear copper colour with a glass hugging off white head. The aroma and indeed the flavour are rich and fruity with red berries. It’s also a little metallic in the palate and somewhat sweet. Would quickly become sickly I feel.
