One of our most refreshing brews, made for those hot summer days, but satisfying year ’round.

Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes well with seafood, particularly oysters.

Norwegian take on the reviving saison style, with medium thick, irregular, cream white head with decent retention; colour is a deep and lightly hazy ’old gold’ with vivid sparkling, more ochre-like and completely cloudy with deposit. Pleasant fruity and slightly ’barnyard’ aroma of red apple, peach, banana, starfruit, sourdough, hay, orange peel, white wine, yoghurt and chamomille. Vivid fruitiness in the onset, apple and peach with a light citrus touch, crisp and refreshing, medium carbonation, soft bready pale malt sweetishness, spicy yeastiness as in any Belgian saison, tingling and supple mouthfeel, finishing with a pleasantly lingering malt sweetness paired with a good dosis of leafy and lightly peppery, even somewhat quinine-like, ’deep’ hop bitterness, as well as a hint of warming, wine-like alcohol. Nice and a very ’typical’ saison indeed.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian farmhouse yeast and a nice doughy quality. Flavour is along the same lines, with farmhouse yeast, dough and cereal notes. Super fresh and doughy, with a lovely yeasty quality. Excellent.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy yellow. Tight, thin white head. Lovely, yeasty, lemon sorbet aroma. Some sweet, biscuit malt. Light bubblegum and banana, too. Taste is off dry, with a bittersweet edge. Palate is soft, yeasty bread, chewy. Finishes dry, with just the right amount of yeasty tartness. Very nice.

Bottle from Deeside Drinks Emporium. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of lemon, earth, coriander and peach. Soft flavour of pear, blood orange and yeast. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Tastes like a cross between a Belgian Witbier and a Saison.
