12 oz can. Pours a light cloudy copper color with a foamy head. Sweet malty aroma. Flavor has some sweet fruit, caramel, and medium maltiness. Some apple flavor specifically. A strange soapy flavor in the background as well. Interesting beer. Not too bad.

35cl can at Sky high sushi at Tallinn airport. Pours deep golden to orange with a slightly off-white head. Rather fruity and moderate hoppy aroma with notes of tangerine, malt, caramel and hints of herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with nice fruity flavours and a decent bitterness. Pleasant one!

Handpump at Craft Beer Kamikaze, Osaka. Copper-amber color, good creamy off-white head. Aroma is woody hoppy, exotic hoppy. Light to medium-bodied, soft palate. Exotic fruity, piney-woody. Soft bitterness, decent malt base.

Can from Taps, Kl. Smashed back at the Mandarin Oriental. It pours clear amber with decent white head. The nose is sweet tropical fruits, lychee, star fruit, cucumber and toasty grain. The taste is crisp, bitter, tangerine, light sherbet, decent malt backbone, toast, hay, lychee and grapefruit with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice lychee action. Rather enjoyable stuff.

The Real Ale Version is now in a 330ml can, I suspect it’s brewed and canned in Japan(not the UK) but this can does have a widget capsule in it. 5.5% Great looking nitro pour, creamy head that lingers with a nice sweet fruity citrus aroma - quite hoppy. The creamy smooth mouthfeel I associate with real ale, the taste is fruity citrus, some caramel and a nice bitting bitter finish. Tasty, good as an everyday chilling out kind of beer.

5.5% Regular Yona Yona can. A solid hoppy ale at a good price. A very nice orange-gold color with a nice head of foam and good lacing on the glass. Average, it’s pretty amazing the difference that real ale nitro cap makes.

Kort ettersmak. Konsumeringslett.

350 ml can, ABV 5.5%, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, loads of exotic and tropical fruits. Refreshing flavour, not too sweet, not too dry. Moderate malts and plenty of fruity hops, but the bitterness is still very moderate. Again notes of exotic fruits. Easy drinking. Another potential "summer hit" from Japan.
