Brand Imperator is het oudste speciaalbier van Nederland. Sinds 1949 is dit bier getuige van de mooiste gesprekken, gemakkelijkste stiltes, en gezamenlijke momenten waarbij het goeie leven wordt gevierd. De rijke volle smaak van gebrande mout gaat over in de karakteristieke zachte hopbitterheid, met een heerlijke milde afdronk. Een waardevol bier, met historie en unieke receptuur.

Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, caramel, bready, notes of ripe apples, ripe fruits, bit toasted malt. Flavour is sweet, a tad cloying, and light bitter. Body is medium. A bit too sweet for my taste.

Tap in Maastricht: The whole around the year Bock of Brand. A Amber coloured beer with a lightly sweet taste like a bock.

Malty, raisinny aroma. Sweet, malty taste with raisin, cabbage and some late hopbitterness.

Clear amber colour, large, though quickly collapsing off-white head; aroma and taste of caramel, dried apricot and floral (honey) notes, as well as some toast; good one!

Bottle at De Kaap, Urk. Pours amber. Aroma and flavor are sweet, caramel, some dry bitterness. Overall: solid bock.
