Bottle Orange color. Soft oily hoparoma with plastic and melon notes. Oily hopbitter flavor, earthy with grapefruit, pineapple and melon. Shortish aftertaste for a IPA.

Two finger head with good retention. The smell is very perfumed, with notes of roses, fresh cut grass and yeast. The taste is bitter-sweet, slightly unbalanced, but that works well for me. Medium-light body makes this quite drinkable.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, sehr hopfig. Geschmack leicht hopfig, fruchtig malzig, exotische Früchte.

Bottle from Beernavigatie. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is resin wood light hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth yeast resin hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A typical Dutch IPA but not really a typical IPA at all. The yeast just isn’t right for an IPA. It’s like a watered down Belgian strong ale with some extra hops. There are some Dutch brewers who have brewed great IPA’s but others need to revisit the drawing board.

Decent IPA. Not very special, but certainly not bad. Was nice to drink, but I won’t have it again.
