Fra fat på Ølbaren i Elmegade: en crossover apa med belgisk gjær. 7%. Syrlig og med mye humle og god smak som treffer ganen. Appelsinskall. Litt for metallisk ettersmak.

650ml bottle. Slightly cloudy dark orangey golden to amber colour with average firm frothy moderately lacing white head. Fruity aroma has orange, mandarin, citrus, orange zest. Taste is yeasty with ulterior fruity notes, a bit watery middle part, prickling to biting yeasty and hoppy finish.

Bomber courtesy of rlgk. Pours clear golden with a big creamy and frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace and some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet, metallic and rather hoppy fresh with caramel, plums, grapefruit juice, grapes, dry soil, grass, pineapple, peaches, apricots, yeasty esters, biscuits, cloves, orange zest, marzipan and hints of glue and barnyard. Taste is sweet, bitter and spicy with caramel, allspice, cloves, black pepper, biscuits, grass, apricots, peaches, yeasty esters, grapes, wheat crackers, dry soil, grape zest, lemon zest and hints of barnyard. Mouthfeel is round, dry, tiny tart and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with crackers, white pepper, cloves, allspice, dry soil, lemon zest, dried apricots and orange zest. Very dry, refreshing and nice!

(Bottle, 0.65 l - bottled 1/2012, at Kaisla, 20120531) The beer poured deep amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness, mango and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grapefruit, biscuits, nuts, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and bitter. Aroma was from an IPA but the taste had a lot of an ordinary bitter characteristics. Not so good combination.

[5/9/12] Draught at Ølbaren in Copenhagen. Clear amber color with a white head. Aroma of floral hops, slightly citric and some fruity yeast. Yeasty flavor with some fruitiness, hops, some sweetness and a bitter, slightly grapefruity finish. Medium-bodied. OK, don’t really dig the yeastiness.

Bottle. Golden-orange colour with an off-white head. aroma is peach, hop, malt, orange, pine. Flavour is peach, hop, malt, orange, pine. full body. Nice beer.

Pour is a dirty looking orange with a large white head. Aroma is a nice citrus fruit with some resinous hops and candi sugar. Flavor is a bitter citrus fruit with a lingering hop and then comes a nice creamy fruity Belgian yeastyness. This was quite flavorful and decently hopped.

Bottle. Pours muddy orange with white head. Nose/taste of orange peel, clove, pineapple, bready caramel malt and citrus. Finishes dry orange peel. Slightly bitter. Medium body.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Amber color, bit hazy. Firm off-white head, pretty good lacing. Aroma’s: resinous, biscuits, caramel malty, retronasal also bitter and somewhat earthy. Flavor is caramellish but hardly sweet, light bitter, hints of fruit. Medium body. Finishes a bit dry and medium bitter. Nice.
