When the autumn leaves begin to fall, then it’s time to savour Maneblusser Bok. This pale amber beer is brewed with 2 varieties of barley malt, wheat malt and oats. It is made with 3 types of hops and seasoned with curaçao. The result? A fine balance between bitter and sweet, with hints of ripe fruit. Just like autumn, it tastes mellow, full-bodied and heart-warming. Ideal after a brisk autumn walk!

Pours a dark red/brown with a nice white head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, some spices. An okay brew, but I’m not a fan, there are much better bocks around.

On tap at Det Bette Ølhus. A hazy golden colored beer with a dense two finger white head leaving curtains. Nice flowery, fruity aroma with grass, peppery notes, a yeasty touch and some pale malts. It's full bodied, lightly warming and pleasantly carbonated, semi sweet, with a gentle bitterness. Fruity and lightly flowery flavor, with a herbal and peppery touch. Some bready malts and a touch of pine cones, grass, hay and alcohol. Typical Belgian style yeasty flavors. Long fruity finish. Sure not a German style Bock, but pleasant indeed. A real treat enjoyed in the beer garden. 230803
