Keg at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a creamy head. The aroma holds light bready pale malts, hints of pine, melon, citrus. Medium sweet flavour with a steady pale malt base, more melon, grapefruit, tangerine, light bitter pine and rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with a dash of resin, more pine, citrus, pale bread. Nice and drinkable IPA.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Levi. As Angel City Angeleno IPA. Clear golden with an off-white head. Lovely hoppy aroma with tropical fruits, citrus and a piney note. Quite dry flavor, with malt, pleasant fruity hops, a bit of pine and a nice bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Really good stuff. 8/3/8/3/16=3.8

Bomber from King’s Liquor in Anaheim. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is likely caramel and grapefruit. Med body. Lots of hop, but not much burn. Flavor is citrus, grapefruit rind, floral, and earth. Fairly hoppy and tasty IPA.

Tap at the Commons Ale House, Santa Monica, 16/04/14. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is juicy hops, pine resin, orange pith, grapefruit, light spruce. Taste comprises bitter grapefuit, orange pith, pine bite, melon, toasted malt, juicy citrus chews. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with hop bitterness. Solid IPA.
