7th Feb 2017: on a flight at the Long Beach brewery. Mini haze in this golden pour, white head. Strange one this: could I detect any ’rose petals’ in the nose or flavour? No. What I got was a floral smelling, yeasty brew that had a semi-tart fruity taste and a sprinkling of spice like traces in the finish

Draft - Light sweet herbal notes. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Very peppery and nice, much like a saison. Easy drinking.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a thick, white, creamy and retentive head. Aromas are very floral, grainy (malty), spicy, mild citrus, bready and some cedar. Flavors are cedar, spicy, floral, earthy, citrus, and rosewater. Medium to full bubbles, dry with a lighter body. Floral and malty. Quite decent.
