Cask @ BBF 2011. Amber color. Floral hops and orange in the shy aroma. Alcoholic flavor, malty and sticky, yet not too sweet. Dried fruits. Bready notes, even some perfume.

Boreft Beer Festival 2011: Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of raisin, dried apricot, vanilla and a touch of highland scotch. Sweetish rich and fruity flavour, with vanilla, vineous alcohol and notes of rhum or scotch

Cask, 11% at Borefts 2011. Not much aroma. Hazy dark copper colour. Very small white head. The flavour is nicely malty. With a hint of vanilla and a good dose of alcohol. Burning alcohol in the finish, actually. Too strong, in my opinion.

(Cask at Euston Tap, Euston, London, 25 Nov 2010) Mahogany colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, raisins, molasses and slightly rubbery, earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of raisins, prunes, dried fruit, caramel and a warming, vinous finish with a mild, earthy bitterness. Full body, quite sweet and vinous. Very nice and tasty.
