355mL can. Pours black with thin beige head. Aroma has toasted malts and notes of dark chocolate. Flavour has some toasted malts and a bit of black liquorice. Nice, solid Porter.

355ml can. Pours an unclear dark brown, almost black with red hue and a small, creamy, short lived, tan head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, earth, coffee and light smoke. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice and earth in a dry, mild bitter, day old coffee finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not getting any salt, but not bad.

A reddish brown porter with a very thin brown head. In aroma, sweet caramel and chocolate malt, light fruity esters, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, light caramel, pleasant and smooth. On tap at brewery.

On tap at the brewery. Has a very nice salted dark chocolate aroma, well done, I can pick out the smell. There's a good black coffee look to it with just a bit of foam. Flavour is very good chocolate and roasted barley notes with just a hint of sweetness on the back end. Smartly done and well balanced. Mouthfeel is medium and there's an okay aftertaste. This is a nice porter with some good elements working for it.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Dark brown, near black with full tan head. Soft roasted malt with a bit of chocolate, just a hint of salt. Pretty decent.

Very drinkable, but I would like to see a little more body and roast. The salt isnt "salty" but instead adds a dryness. Bottle on office.

Brown with a quick dissipating head. Nose and palate of lightly sweet chocolate with notes of coffee. Vague licorice notes as it warms. Mellow and easy drinking
