Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, caramel, and some fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, bread, and some straw, leading to a sweet finish with notes of caramel and nuts. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle, 6.0%. Good malty aroma, a little alcohol note. Clear dark brown colour. Small light brown head. Good roasted flavour, hint of spice. A little roast barley bitterness. Well-balanced, but a little bit boring.

Hazy dark amber. Toffee, caramelized almonds and malt, a hint of soap and yeast integrated in the flavour. Long finish. I found it a bit bland. (Tanks to Rune for bringing it to a beer session 2.apr.09)

500 ml bottle. Dark brown body with a small, dense, beige head. Aroma of caramel, malt, brown sugar, spices and notes of fruit and nuts. Flavor of sweet malt, roasted caramel, dry fruit and spices with a fine bitter finish. A smooth and easy drinkable beer with a medium body and a richer flavor than first impression might indicate. A sweet and almost woody/roasted malt flavor gives some Belgium association, but this might be something between a brown ale and a Belgium Brune.
