Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, raisins, hint of sweet dark fruits, dark bread, some brown sugar. Flavour is above medium sweet with a moderate bittersweet finish and some notes of alcohol. Body is nicely full. An excellent heavy Doppelbock.

From bottle @ BBF 2010. Brown color. Maltaroma with a hint of candy. Malty alcoholic flavor, not too sweet. Earthy notes. Dry hopping, cellar notes. A bit too much alcohol to be really pleasurable.

A dark brown Bock with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of dark fruits, molasses, plums, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bièropholie imports, bb 2013.

Light beige, thin head stayed well on a reddy mahogany still body. Stewed fruits, raisin, sugar & grape aroma. Thick oily body, smooth - feels just like Castrol GTX does when you get it on the hands! Subtle to the front with malt & caramel but this quickly envelops the tongue with a rich dark fruit blast, cherry, plum, grape & vanilla and then a boozy, peppery aft. This gives a real warming to the cheeks.

Bottle, bb 2015 (thanks fatphil). Pours dark amber. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, malt. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: very good.
