Brownish-amber. Fairly malty nose, quite toffeeish and with a bit of brown sugar. Has quite a bit of malt...more of the toffee...actually a fair bit of alcohol that starts to cut the sticky finish but kind of clashes as well. You have to think this hits the mark of what they are aiming for, but that’s not something that compels me.

Draft - Nice light malty caramel notes. Clear copper with a small white head. Toffee and light toasted grains. Nice and no booze to mention.

On tap at Yaletown, pours a clear copper amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out notes of toffee, butterscotch and English malt. Flavour is rather robust, with loads of butterscotch and toffee. A touch of vanilla as well. Almost no hops. Well-balanced and simple. Good stuff.

Draught at the brewpub
Amber color, clean, with medium sized head. Light caramel aroma, with very light fruity esters. Good body strength; the mouthfeel is sweetish, it has some malt flavor, low bitterness, no character from the hop, and delicate fruity esters; juicy.
Simple but cohesive; pleasant winter warmer.
