Draught. Looks exactly like a jar of stout should, black with tan head. Malty aroma with sweetness. Full bodied with malt, syrup and coffee notes. Not too malty.

Draught @ Green Dragon, Portland, OR. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and hops. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and hoppy with some vanilla, coffee, cocoa, chocolate and oatmeal. Finish is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with loads of coffee, vanilla and cocoa. On tap at Tin Bucket. Pours black with tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast, cocoa, vanilla. Thick mouth, chewy, roast, dark chocolate, bitter finish, very nice.

Growler closeout from Albertsons. What a deal! Nice fluffy head, dark brown body. Coffee bitterness in the aroma, roast grains/burnt toast and semi-sweet chocolate in the flavor. Almost chewy body. Big, thick, flavorful stout.

On tap at Growler Guys, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of oats, some roast and a little dry cocoa. Flavour is rich, with oats, chocolate, and a touch of coffee. Full-bodied and chocolatey on the finish. Really well-designed. Excellent.

Draft - Lots of dark roast with some dark coffee. Deep jet brown with a light brown head. Lots of dark roast with nice dark chocolate and coffee bitterness.

Draft pour pint at special brews, listed at 5.8% Pours black with a bubbly tan head. Very nice subtle espresso aroma. Flavor is definitely coffee headlined. Sweet milk chocolate in there as well. Finishes on a sweet note. Overall pretty good. 2nd favorite breakfast stout beer.

From sampler at the brewery. Black pour with tan foam and lace. Taste is strong in coffee, milk chocolate, vanilla..sweet, lightly tart with a dry finish. A little thin. Fucking yummy, though. 9,5,10,4,19
