Lion's Gate Lager has a light body, a very crisp palate and a soft, hop finish, which is imparted by the exquisitely gentle Czech Saaz hop variety.

Clear golden color, small white head. Light sweetish corn-like aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Sweetish malty, corn, fruityness in the flavor. Low bitterness. Lager for masses. But feels a bit like an ale actually.

Draught at the brewpub
Blond color. The aroma is very light. The mouthfeel is dry, there is a light flavor of crispy and breadish malt, but there is a problem with the bitterness (too long hop infusion?). And at the end there is an impression of hay. Simple and with some flaws.

On tap at Steamworks, Vancouver. Gold colour with thin white head. Pukey lager malt aroma, stale carboard. Thin in mouth. Faint hop on end. Not awful, but pretty tasteless.

Draught at the brewpub. Pale golden. Buttery malt aroma. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel and light-medium body. An unpleasant amunt of boiled vegetables followed by a finish with low bitterness. I wouldn’t be able to tell it from a Heineken.

Aiming for mainstream and that is what they get. Don't bother, unless your looking for numbers.
