Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Slightly sour, citrus zest, herbal, soapy. Taste: Moderate sweet and moderate sour, bit soapy and foamy, notes of citrus zest, barley. Yeasty hints. Medium body, just below average carbonation. There are definitely many better Saisons, in my opinion.

Bottle from the online brewery shop. Golden and clear, with heavy visible carbonation. Some gathering of white head on the top. Pear drops and grapefruit peel on the nose. This really shows off the Cascade well. There’s a bit of yeasty funk in the sweet and juicy taste, and it sours the finish a bit for a nice balance, but this is beer really showcases the hop. A bit of sourdough and coriander in the aftertaste alongside the grapefruit. I like it.

Draft glass @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Oddly clear golden, creamy white head. Nose is soap, ginger, some cleaning products, white sugar, candy. Taste is soap, sugar, washing products, ginger, pretty poor especially for the style, finish oddly faintly sourish in a poor way, mineral, body is empty, soap, sugar & bit watery. Not too good especially for a saison.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Royal Mile Whiskies. Pours clear yellow, highly effervescent, with a creamy, white head. Phenolic aroma, with touches of plastic, some lemon peel, dried wheat. Light sweet flavour with an unfortunate note of astringent plastic, some bitter grass, straw, grain husk, faint tangy lemon. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Finishes with some pleasant lemon, bubblegum, lemon, fainter plastic, grass, tangerine. Overall, just so so. (July 2016, score: 3.0) Revisited in April 2020, BB February 2014, and would give it a 3.3 this time around.

Hazy yellow beer, thin white head, spicy citrus aroma. Tangy citrus first, some sourness to it as well though that soon fades. Bit of a yeasty taste to it. Not much aftertaste. Not remarkable but a nice, drinkable beer all the same.

330ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with a white head that very quickly fizzed away. Sour citrus aroma, flavour is also cirrus, with some straw. Very dry. Ok

Keg at Amersham beer shop, Amersham, Bucks. A golden coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Yeasty, fruity, sour aroma. Tastes the same, yeasty, fruity, lemon, slightly sour. Just about alright, expected a lot more from a quality brewery like Tempest.
