The Marron is produced from barley malt, Saaz hops and chestnuts added during the mashing. The aroma is intense and definitely geared to the tones of caramel and roasted malt. In the mouth it is fresh and structured with an amazing citrusy/spicy finish and delicate perfumed notes of chestnut flour.

Small, but persistent amberish head over dark yellow beer with a greenish shine. Malty, "beery" nose, discreet and slightly herbal aroma. Beautiful, fake "madeirised" flavour (the effect of the chestnuts, as first shown by the Pietra). Nutty, lighty vanilla - good! Creamy mouthfeel, yet refreshing enough. Very good beer, that I liked instantly. More of this, my friend!
