LCBO, six-pack of 275ml bottles ($11.35): Pours a copper like color with a big enough head. Aroma is fairly hoppy, but nothing extreme. Definitely more of a mild IPA. Nice malt backbone, but this is also lighter bodied than many IPAs I have had. Fairly easy to drink overall. High enough ABV to be a proper IPA. Well-balanced throughout. Not the best Canadian IPA I’ve had, but still perfectly nice.

Purchased a 6-pack of this at the LCBO, in 275ml bottles. Pours a clean copper colour with an off-white creamy-froth head that has a decent stay and some nice thick lacing. Hoppy nose with hints of caramel malts. Medium-bodied and well-brewed between good wetness and a little dryness. The taste is hoppy as well, but not too bitter, with some grain showing in the aftertaste. An easy-drinking APA.

Sample at the Strange Brew Tasting on 02/18/2012. Pours a dark amber color with a medium thin off-white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is equally hoppy and malty. Medium body with a fruity hops character with sweet malt behind it. The finish is citrusy with a short mildly hoppy aftertaste. Worth the inevitable lawsuit? Slightly above average overall.

Okay copper body with some modest head. Soft aroma of bad B.O. and some hops thrown in. Flavour is a decent 45-minute hop formula with a bit of malt. Okay balance, okay IPA. Just okay. Eh?

Not bad. Strong hops smell, medium body. Overall an average IPA - decently bitter but not a whole lot of character. Has a nice amber colour and head retention’s not bad. Hoppy but not super bitter.

Draught, 6.2% at the brewpub. Subtle caramelly aroma. Clear light chestnut brown colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour is caramelly, bitterness above average. Not exactly flavourful, but clean.

A copper red IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, toffee and caramel with light nice floral hops. In mouth, a very malty IPA with caramel malt, light buttery notes and good British hops, medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 6 2010.

(tap) clear amber with medium cream head; faint citrus aroma; watery palate, balanced flavour. Weak IPA character - boring and wimpy.
