Draught @ Gastropub Tuulensuu as "Budels Herfstbock"
Aroma is sweet with brown sugar - feels like belgian strong. Flavour is sweet with syrup, brown sugar, honey and some spices. Malty finish with some alcohol, sugary aftertaste. Rather sweet bock, but sugar-sweet and not malt-sweet like bocks usually are. A ’belgian bock’, I’d say.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin lazing tan head. The aroma has strong notes of caramel, malt, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of nuts and caramel, on a malty and bready back ground, leading to a very dry nutty finish.
Earlier Rating: 12/31/2004 Total Score: 2.9
A red beer with chunks of yeast floating around below a disappearing orange head. The is primarily sweet while the flavor is sweet and dry. Too simple.

Dark brown colour. Texture is quite thin. Very light flavoured for a bock with a total lack of distinction.
