A medium bodied beer that has a slight nutty sweetness. The color is a rich brown beauty, and the hops remind you why you’re here. The clean aftertaste will keep you coming back for more.

Part of a flight in the Taproom at Pike Place on 11th August 2025. Dark brown body, beige topping. Malty and interesting brew, and a good way to finish a flight of beers from new breweries to me.

Draft pour pint at The Collective. Continuing my random quest to become the top rater of a brewery I have never been to. Though I’d love to road trip and visit one day. Is anybody ever in the mood for a brown ale? It must be possible. I enjoy a good brown ale, but never find myself hanging out and thinking, you know what I could really go for.. Pours brown (weird) with a rocky bubble head. Nutty malt aroma and flavor. Pretty typical for the style here, but it seems hard to avoid that. On a scale of 1 to good, this was good.

On tap at The Pourhouse, pours a hazy amber brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is light, with toasted nuts and toasted caramel bready notes. Flavour is quite restrained, with toasted nuts and bready malt. Thin palate but with good balance. Okay but lacking.

Draught at Serious Biscuit, Seattle
Dark amber color with golden hue. The aroma is light. The mouthfeel is lean and the flavor caramelly, followed by correct bitterness, and a very light vegetable touch.

One of the better browns out there. Dark brown with medium white head, Balanced aroma. Medium body. Not too sweet, a common failing with browns
