Cask @ Sun Inn, Leintwardine. Pours a deep clear golden, nice white head. Aroma has fruity caramel notes, taste is extremely hoppy, more so than I recall from last time, nice fruity citrus character with a good malt body. Could give Salopian Oracle a run for its money. 500ml bottle from their stall Ludlow Food Festival May 11th 2014. Has a pleasant hoppy flavour, not too strong and a little placid but generally a mildly tasteful session beer.

Gravity served at Charlton Arms, Ludlow as when I arrived the pipes for the handpull were still being cleaned. Golder beer, small white head, rich and hoppy. Slightly sweet and sticky. Enjoyed this one.

Had the pleasure of visiting this brewery and its visitor centre in the summer of 2011: this review however is of a hand pulled pint in the excellent Cock Hotel, Wellington on 2nd Feb 2012. Almost lager looking: pale golden, clear and bright with a thin snow white head on top. One sniff tells you its an ale though, not a lager: waves of citrusy hop esters fill the nose along with freshly cut grass. I thought it might taste a bit weak from its looks but I was mistaken: good flavoursome blend, hop frontage and rear with a bready malt centre. Very easy to drink and refreshing.
