Draft - Raisin, prune and a touch of cherry. Deep Amber with a decent beige head. Sweet raisin and dark sugars. Not overly complex, but very drinkable.

Schooner draft at Tippe and Drague in Beacon Hill, Seattle. Dark brown color. A surprisingly good dubbel from an American brewer. No strong esters or banana. Not to sweet, but a little slick sweetness. Low bitterness. A brown biscuit with Belgian malt flare flavor. Could use a bit more eathiness and even less sweetness. But this would definitely be something I could return to again.

Draught at brewpub
Dark amber color, clear, with small head. Light aroma of malt, caramel, brown sugar, with light fruity touch. Lean body; moderate sweetness, light fruity touch, some caramel flavor, and ordinary bitterness; a bit nutty in the final. No Belgian character.
