33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra Beilen. Clear dark reddish brown with a very thin off-white head. Caramel aroma with roasted malts and some raisins. Taste is not overly sweet and rounded. A nice bock but the raisins seem a bit superfluous, some good dunkler bocks or darker Belgian ales also have a raisin aroma even without using them.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear brown with a beige head. Lovely mushy aroma, distinct raisin and other dried fruit. Rich, malty body, again loads of dried fruit. Warming finish. Quite delicious. 300514

Dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Rosinen. Geschmack sehr angenehm dezent nach Rosinen, leicht fruchtig malzig. Insgesamt sehr harmonisch und ausgewogen. Richtig gut!

Bottle @ home. Thanks Abijen for getting this bottle. Dark red brown color, medium sized beige to light brown head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma has malts, some chocolate, caramel. Taste malts, slightly roasted malts, lightly chocolate, clearly raisins. Quite nicely balanced. One of few bocks I actually enjoyed. Nice!

30/XI/13 - on tap @ Emelisse brewery, homebrew day - BB: n/a (2013-1105)
Clear red brown beer, aery beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: a bit metallic, sweet, green banana, caramel, bit sugary, some chocolate, dried fruits. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: toasted malts, caramel, bit metallic, some mocha, citrus. Aftertaste: bitter hops, bit metallic, dried fruits, green banana, some chocolate, alcohol. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but maybe something a bit more complex than this. Fuller body maybe as well. Oh well, it's a decent beer.
